This project was a straightforward but important keel refurbishment. The boat arrived at Universal Marine, in Southampton, with a keel that was heavily corroded, showing the kind of wear that can build up over years in the water.
By blasting the surface, all the corrosion was completely removed, taking the keel back to clean, solid metal. With a fresh surface to work from, we were able to fill the damaged areas and restore the shape before applying a durable epoxy coating.
