This Coppercoat application project at Sparkes Marina, on Hayling Island, was carried out during the summer on a small racing yacht. The boat came in with old antifoul that had built up over time, so the first stage was a full removal by blasting to take the hull back to a clean, solid surface.
Once the antifoul had gone, the vessel’s hull was carefully sanded and prepared to ensure a perfect finish for the new coating. With the surface fully prepared, we applied fresh Coppercoat, giving the yacht a durable, long-lasting, and protective layer.
